We had the most fun with this amazingly well preserved 1920s lace frock! It was incredible and one of those magical pieces that transports you back in time. Changed hats to an orange feathered cloche, and Tiffany was transformed.
She kept on the vintage back seamed cotton stockings, and we got some interesting horror or film-noir styled photos in those. For some reason, this dress and outfit screamed “spooky movie star”. I loved the emotions and expressions we were able to convey.
It appears as if this rare 1920s over dress has accent panels and edging of fine either bobbin lace or filet lace (I can’t discern- any help would be appreciated), and inner tatted lace panels on the bodice…. the detail is incredible though, and I could have spent alot more time just taking artistic pictures of the lace and embroidered netting.
