Sometimes you’re shooting, and it’s not quite clicking. After the vintage wedding shoot, I’d been on a creative high and asked Arcana when she could model for me again… Two days later found both of us pretty drained, and I was didn’t even want to attempt to style something vintage when I’d not even finished going through the photos from the 1930s wedding fashion photo session. I did her make up modern and bright blue and purple, and we went for a more modern look.
Below are the best of the pictures. Arcana wore a glamourous satin slip and robe from the 1930s, and a blue dress that had the note “1936 Mrs _____ going away dress from her wedding”. It matched the green mother of the bride’s dress and was from the same family donor. Her hat was also from the local historical society.
