I was excited to shoot Elle in the vintage 1960s ice skating dress, which fit her perfectly… but we fell in love with the 60s wedding dress. I just love shooting bridal portraits, even when they’re pretend. I did her makeup, she did her own hair, and we shot mostly outdoors, before coming in to do the Old Hollywood style portraits that I love. I could spend hours photographing like this!
This was my first time using my new Canon 6D, and I think the upgrade was worth the investment!
